...i'm so excited, that i just can't hide it...
-just got trained on Quark and Mac OS X, and given a brand spanking new keyboard; it's so white, that it's slightly blinding. but the keys are oh so soft =))) mac icons are so cute! and the system seems pretty user friendly... i'm excited, and perhaps i will be convinced to jump off of the good ship PC. itunes baby!! i've noticed though that there are a shocking amount of Phish files in the shared music folder.
-started knitting again! if anyone out there is interested in knitting or crocheting for a good cause, Listen Up! All you have to do is knit/crochet an 8x8 square (any colour of yarn) or 4x4 squares if you're impatient =) then what will happen is that the ladies from the JGCT Blanketeers will host a 'joining party' and everyone's squares will be stiched together to make blankets. the purpose of making these blankets is to give them to seniors' residences like Momiji and hospitals. The great thing about this project is that you can make the squares on your own time, there's no quota, there's a fun party (great food guaranteed-JGCT ladies know how to COOK) and you're helping out your community! There are easy instructions online and if you need extra help, the ladies gots kits for u! this goes w.out saying but boys are definitely welcome (the very cool Mac guy at work told me he was a knitter too!)
